For today’s card project, I’m trying out a technique that I saw my friend Mindy Eggen create on the Gina K. Designs YouTube channel.
At first glance, it might be hard to see how I’m trying it out, lol, but I promise you, the video will help. My approach is very loosely tied to Mindy’s! But the intent was there: create a wash of color on a background before embossing and ink blending.
If I had to do it again, I would add more bits of color, but I do like the idea!
The products I used are part of Gina’s newest kit called Sunny Days and Breezy Nights.
As always, the kit is packed with a lot of wonderful products for a terrific price! But you can always circle back next month, when the kit items are sold separately as supplies become available.
