It’s Day One of a blog hop to showcase the Simon Says Stamp Always There release. Today I’m sharing a fun shaped card using my new Classic Friendship stamps and dies, and the Elongated Hexagon Dies and Stencils.
This shaped card fits perfectly into a regular US A2 envelope! I simply used the stencil set to blend onto one size of the Elongated Hexagon, then I stamped my new Mod Composition stamp in Lilac ink on another die cut hexagon. Then I took the largest of the dies, folded a piece of cardstock in half, hung the die off the folded side by an 1/8th of an inch and ran it through, folded, to create the shaped card.
I cut one more of the largest hexagon shape, glued it to the shaped card, and added the other layers, and the greeting. And there you see how it slips right into the envelope!
I didn’t have a chance to film a video for this but… I think the idea is pretty simple! Now onto the hop special:
There is a free gift with ANY purchase from the new Always There collection and it’s a small set I designed! I will be featuring this in a video next month but for now, you can get it for free. There will be coordinating dies available soon!
