Welcome to Day 2 of the blog hop for the Simon Says Stamp Heart to Heart release! Today I’m sharing this sweet snowman, nestled in a swirly, winter scene, courtesy of a gorgeous embossing folder.
I think this Bundled Snowman die set is adorable and so easy to put together. I blended a little Marine ink onto the blue scarf and hat to add just a hint of shading, and also added some white gel pen details to bring him to life.
I blended two blue inks, Marine and Cadette, onto the panel before I cut it out, leaving it lighter in the center of the panel. And then I embossed it using the Swirling Snowbreeze folder. Then I lightly dragged the Marine ink pad over the embossed panel, so the ink would hit on the highest areas.
I love how it gave more detail to the embossing detail. I finished by spattering on some of the White Splatter Medium.
