Are low-cost markers for you? - CZ Design

I was recently gifted a set of markers (and a storage container) from Ohuhu. I have seen other makers and friends use these markers and I wanted to give them a go.

I am far from an expert colorist, but have built up quite the Copic collection over the years. Yes, I can color well enough, but the question for me is: would I get the same results with lower cost alcohol markers?

Using the Ohuhu Honolulu B set (they have recently come out with an updated set of 120 markers), I present my results:

I do like how my card turned out, and for me, if I had the skill level that I currently have, I’m not sure if I would go all in on Copic. Though I do think my coloring may be a TINY bit better with them, but that could also be familiarity.

The one thing most of us love about alcohol markers is they are smooth on the paper, they don’t pill up and they make coloring look so good.

If you are thinking of alcohol markers, give Ohuhu a try.
