My current can't-live-without crafty tools! - CZ Design

It’s been a while since I shared what my go-to card making tools/supplies are. I shared a Top 5 Tools video back in 2022 (and yes, some things are still on my list!), so I wanted to give an updated look at some of the things I use every time I create. Plus, I will share a few honorable mentions here on this post, that didn’t make it into the video.

Shall we?

I have all of the items linked in the supply list below. Now, here are a few more things I use quite frequently that make my process easier (they are also in the list at the bottom of this post!

HONORABLE MENTIONS

The Ink Stand

This ingenious tool has one job: to hold your ink pads while you are blending or doing other crafty techniques. They come in multiple sizes to fit all sort of different pads, and now they come in both black and white. If you ever find your Ink Stand is not staying put on your work surface, a quick spritz of rubbing alcohol on the feet (dry them off!) will do the trick. Plus, I kind of love the little sound. It makes when you’re loading up a brush. If you know, you know! And the owner and inventor of this product is an all-around fabulous person!

The Stampin’ Bug

This pretty tool helps using a stamp positioner a smoother process, and for a maker with bad wrists, (Hi, that would be me!), it is much nicer to just glide over the Misti door with this tool There is felt on the bottom for a smooth glide, and the color just makes me happy. She has many other fun colors and is another wonderful small business owner.

Fine Tip Glue Bottles

If you love liquid adhesive, you may love doing what I do on many of the brands I use: squeeze some into these small, flexible bottles for ease of use. Most of the glue brands I use have a small tip so it’s very easy to fill up these bottles. The bottles are very easy if you have any wrist or dexterity issues. They also give you a lot of control over how much glue comes out, making it very easy to place thin lines or small dots onto your project.

Craft Tool Caddy

The Craft Tool Caddy from Organize More has been a wonderful addition to my studio. I have been using this for over a year, and even was one of their early testers before they put it on the market. I keep mine right within arms reach and even have a second one in my studio closet that holds me less used tools.

Glassboard Magnets

If you decide to take a leap and get a Glassboard Craft Mat, you have to add a few of their magnets to your cart! I use these to hold projects in place, to hold dies when I’m not using them (they magnetize to the top!) and so many other uses.

That wraps up some of my Must-Have Tools! You’ll have to let me know in the comments what some of yours are, as well!

Thanks so much for stopping by!
